Job Description:
Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ.
The Plant Manager position is full-time and based at one of our shop locations in Lamar, SC.
We are looking for an individual that thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

This position will be responsible for directing all plant activities related to shop fabrication, welding, production output, scheduling, quality control, facility maintenance, and on time shipments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1.
Communicate effectively with team members about quality standards, safe working environment, state of business, policy and procedures, and production goals.
2.
Under the direction of the Director of Manufacturing, the Plant Manager will be responsible for directing all plant activities related to EHS, shop fabrication, mig-welding, production output, scheduling, quality control, facility maintenance, and on-time shipments.
3.
Prepare report summaries, ensure production plans are in place, and monitor operations.
4.
Coach, counsel and monitor employees' work habits, personal habits, and use of proper personal protective equipment.
5.
Workforce & backlog planning (e.
g.
, tonnage to shop hours metrics), blueprint reading.
6.
Budget planning/forecasting; continuous improvement methodologies.
7.
Lead a diverse workforce, direct CNC equipment/welding equipment, machine/equipment layout.
8.
Budget planning/forecasting; continuous improvement methodologies.
9.
Complete other duties as assigned or requested.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
1.
Must have at least ten (10) years of managerial/supervisory experience in a structural steel plant.
2.
Confident accomplished leadership with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to work with all employees.
3.
Organizational skills, knowledge of workflow and people skills is a must.
4.
General welding knowledge-MIG, ability to read and interpret metal fabrication drawings, basic computer skills-CAD, CNC, accredited safety training.
5.
Ability to make decisions that are balanced and inclusive of the team's input.
INDUSTRIAL COMPANY 6.
Ability to utilize as well as create effective excel spreadsheets.
Experienced user of Microsoft Word, Express Outlook, PowerPoint, MES, and Epicor.
7.
Ability to associate cause and effect relationships and determine patterns of activity in anticipation of change to the operation or personnel.
